Recognizing the need in organizations to connect marketing and sales in a tangible and measurable way, Rhonda and a partner founded Mac + Lee, Inc. in 1998. Rhonda has spent the last 20 years developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies for companies of all sizes – both prior to and since founding Mac + Lee.

Having bought her partner out in 2008, Rhonda is the heart and soul of the company and is responsible for driving the strategic direction for Mac + Lee, consistently looking for ways to deliver value to her clients while providing her team with meaningful projects.

Often recognized for her entrepreneurial spirit and vision, she has been called upon time and again to lead companies into new markets. Rhonda’s passion for business and giving back is what fuels her - prompting her to launch Karma Threads, a clothing company focused on “bringing good to life,” together with her daughter and inspiration, Sarah.

She holds a Business degree from Thomas College.

Nancy Frary

Nancy brings 20 plus years of sales and management experience to the Mac + Lee team. In her former career at Information Mapping, Inc. Nancy led integrated sales and marketing for five business units. At Mac + Lee, Nancy develops and implements strategic plans for financial services, hi-tech, engineering, manufacturing, health care, and educational technology consulting and training firms. Ms. Frary has an MBA and an MLS from Simmons College in Boston.

What Clients Appreciate Most

Nancy has a unique ability to integrate herself and other Mac + Lee consultants seamlessly with clients’ sales teams. An avid cook and painter, Nancy is able to use her creative side to see sales solutions others miss. Clients appreciate her ingenuity…and often ask for her recipes!

Laura Gargasz

Laura GargaszBackground

Laura comes to Mac + Lee having seen the company from all sides…as a former client, as a sales consultant, and now, as Mac + Lee’s marketing specialist. Her role is multi-faceted: she provides marketing strategy and expertise for Mac + Lee itself, and also works with Mac + Lee’s clients on an as-needed basis to help untangle complex product messages.

With more than 15 years of marketing and communications expertise, Ms. Gargasz has deep experience on both the agency and client side. She spent the first 10 years of her career as an account executive at several ad agencies in New York City and New Hampshire. She then moved into Corporate Marketing, most recently serving as Director of Field Marketing at Spectel, a telecommunications company in Andover, MA. Laura holds a B.A. from Syracuse University.

Laura’s ability to listen to clients’ concerns, discern their true needs and then simplify complex messages is what earns her the trust of Mac + Lee’s clients. She is able to help clients to more effectively communicate their strengths, and creates marketing strategy to capitalize on those strengths. She also implements those strategies, authoring sales letters, creating email blasts, tweaking website messaging and creating simple sales tools for Mac + Lee and their clients.

A passionate cook and avid runner, Laura is the mother of two young children.

Colleen Lawson

Colleen has been a critical member of the Mac + Lee team since 2008, providing inside sales support by assuring integrity of company files, records, and data bases. She develops and maintains varying reports and ensures that Mac + Lee’s day-to-day operations run smoothly. Organizations that have benefited from Colleen’s talent in the past include Syncrude Canada Ltd., The Brick Warehouse, J. D. Irving, S.J. Tool & Die Inc., Canadian Acceptance Corporation and Theatre New Brunswick. Originally from Canada, she graduated from Business College in New Brunswick.

What Clients Appreciate Most

Colleen’s attention to detail is what wows clients when they meet her. She understands their businesses and is able to give specific and direct feedback about any issues that arise. An ability to get to the heart of the matter quickly combined with her direct communication style inform her success both at work and at home where she is an avid gardener and proud mother of three.

Cynthia Shannon

Cynthia ShannonBackground

Cynthia’s extensive sales experience makes her a sought-after resource on the Mac + Lee team. A former executive recruiter, she has also sold into such markets as telecommunications, education, software and financial services, where she achieved numerous awards and recognition. Earlier in her career, Cynthia taught elementary school – both mainstream first grade as well as children with special needs.

She has a B.S. from the University of Maine.

As a highly respected Mac + Lee project leader, Cynthia is known for her keen understanding of the sales process and for her dedication to the success of Mac + Lee’s clients. Ms. Shannon develops and flawlessly implements strategic plans, using her trademark tenacity to identify and profile decision makers, build relationships with prospects and ensure a smooth transition to the client’s sales rep to close the sale. Cynthia possesses a remarkable ability to read a sales environment, and both clients and Mac + Lee staff members regularly benefit from her insights.

Loie Williams

Loie WilliamsBackground

Loie’s skills as an educator, communicator, facilitator, and athlete are all brought to bear for Mac + Lee’s clients. Her varied experiences include teaching, authoring a book, competing in the Head of the Charles rowing regatta, riding in the Pan Mass Challenge, and marketing and consulting in the areas of sales and organizational development for both large and small companies. Ms. Williams spent 10 years with IBM in the areas of product marketing, account management and business development. Because of her stellar relationship building skills, Mac + Lee has crowned Loie with the important role of prospecting for our own new business, as well as nurturing many of our former clients.

Ms. Williams is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree from Harvard University in Management and has completed coursework in Advanced Management Studies from Radcliffe College. She also holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Wheelock College in Boston.

Loie’s thoughtfulness, tenacity and disciplined approach to problems is what impresses clients time and again. She is one of Mac + Lee’s top “go to” sales resources and is available to all clients and Mac + Lee consultants on an as-needed basis. Clients praise her for processing all factors before recommending a solution, instead of rushing to recommend a quick-fix.
